How do I register for membership?

Those interested in becoming of the Society will be able to register starting Monday, February 8th, 2010

What are the membership benefits?

Full members receive access to a member director of health professional, the Mentoring Program, all Society events, a monthly newsletter, all website content, monthly happy hours, and discounts on memberships to health and health policy organizations.

Associate members receive access to portions of the website, monthly happy hours, a limited version of the monthly newsletter, and the opportunity to serve as a Mentor.

How much is membership?

Full membership is a $20 annual fee. Associate membership is free.

What events does the Society hold?

The Society holds a vast array of events. The Professional Development Committee hosts: speed networking, a How To Series, and discussion groups. The Community Service Committee engages in walks/runs for health related causes, food drives, blood mobiles, and other volunteering initiatives in the community. The Programming Committee helps organize monthly happy hours for networking and with informal speakers and health panels with leading policymakers and health policy professionals.

How do I find out about events?

All upcoming events are posted on our website, listed in the monthly newsletter, sent out in e-mail reminders, and listed at the events themselves.

How do I become involved in the Society?

You can become involved in the Society by registering for membership, emailing a Committee, or attending one of our monthly happy hours for more information.

How do I RSVP for events?

You may RSVP for events through our website by clicking on an upcoming event and filling out the necessary forms. Only Full members are allowed to attend all events, but Associate members may attend happy hours, though all events do require an RSVP to verify your designated membership.

How often do you hold events?

Each Committee strives to hold at least one event each month. There is an on-going monthly happy hour every second Monday of each month and the Community Service Committee volunteers at Food for All every third Saturday of each month.

What if I lose my username and/or password?

Simply go to the Login section of the website and click forgot username or forgot password and one will be emailed to you.
